How do I pack up my inflatable and blower?

1. Remove all accessories & store these items separately.

2. Clean any dirt spots with a wet towel or disinfectant wipe.

3. For water slides, drain the water from the pool area by opening the plug. Wipe up any wet areas with a towel. To help with drying leave it inflated to allow all the seams to fully dry.

4. Turn the blower power switch to OFF and unplug.

5. Loosen the Velcro and detach the inflation tube from the blower.

6. The product should deflate on its own within 5 minutes. Make sure the product is entirely deflated.

7. Remove all ground support stakes.

8. Make sure the inflatable is 100% dry before folding. Start folding the inflatable towards the inflation tube to allow any excess air to escape. If the underside is wet, wipe dry prior to the next fold.

9. Store in the provided carry bag in a cool dry space.

10. Never leave the blower outside in the rain or elements when not in use.

11. When not in use, store the blower upright on a stable surface and in dry conditions indoors. Loosely coil the cord and place it beside the blower.

For a more detailed explanation, refer to our deflation method video guide.

How can I maintain my inflatable?

1. Our inflatables are NOT meant to be left out in the harsh sun so please pack them away completely dry after every use.

2. Take care when storing your inflatable. We recommend storing it in the provided carry bag in a dry and cool place with good ventilation.

3. For waterslides, make sure it is completely dry prior to packing it away to prevent mold and mildew from forming.

4. If your inflatable came with a hose kit and or water bags, these need to be removed, drained, dried and stored separately.

5. If your inflatable is displaying signs of mold try using warm soapy water and a splash of vinegar with a soft cloth.

6. Do not use 100% bleach or any other harsh chemicals to clean your inflatable.

7.   For stubborn stains, we recommend Dawn Powerwash or Zep cleaning products.

We heard some minor hissing from the seams, is that normal?

1. Some minor hissing sounds coming from the inflatable seams is normal. All inflatable bounce houses on the market are sewn with heavy threading yet not completely sealed, so that air can continually escape.

2. A loose outer stitching end inside the jumping castle is not uncommon as they are assembled by hand. Some pin holes are also normal and do not affect the way the inflatable works.

3. That is why these products are double stitched and have multiple layers of sewing inside. These will in no way affect the function of the bounce house.

There are small bubbles forming on my water slide, is this normal?

This is normal! All water slides are sewn by thread which creates very tiny escapes for air and causes bubbles to naturally form when air is pumped in. The areas with larger bubbles are usually corners or seam connections.

When does my 12 month manufacturer's warranty start?

The 12 month manufacturers warranty starts the day of purchase.

How do we clean our Happy Hop Inflatables?

1. Surface wash only. Never clean Blower with water.

2. The inflatables can be cleaned by wiping it down with a non-flammable, non-toxic mild detergent.

3. We also recommend Dawn Powerwash or Zep cleaning products.

4. Never clean the Inflatable or blower with a chemical solution as it may damage the coating on the fabric or the plastic parts.

5. Leave it under the sun to dry completely in order to prevent mildew problems!

What do I do if my inflatable item has mold?

Mold is generally evident that the inflatable has not been dried thoroughly or it has been stored in a damp area.

Try using warm soapy water and a splash of vinegar with a soft cloth. Do not use harsh abrasive chemicals or scourers. Do not use 100% bleach or chemicals. This will stain and damage the item.

What materials are the inflatables made from?

All our bounce houses and water slides are made from a combination of PVC coated Terylene and Laminated Oxford Terylene. PVC is used in high activity areas such as the bounce floor, climbing wall and certain slides. Oxford is used everywhere else. Our inflatables are for residential use only, allowing us to deliver affordable products with the use of both PVC and Oxford.

Can adults use the inflatable item?

The Happy Hop bounce houses and water slides range all come with a manufacturing specification panel. However, these specifications have tolerances built into them. An adult can get into a castle to help a child but the product is not designed for adult use. We do not recommend adults to jump in the bounce house, but simply sitting inside to photograph their child should be fine. However, the splash pool area is made for the whole family and has no weight limit.

Is it possible to use a water slide without water?

All our wet & dry play inflatables (water slide & bounce house combos) and water slides can be used as dry slides and the splash pools can be converted to ball pits during the cooler months.

Does the blower have to be on the entire time?

The air blower must be turned on and have a continual airflow while inflatable is in use.

How can I choose the most suitable inflatable item for my family?

When shopping for an inflatable item, you can start by checking out the specifications (weight limit, materials) and features of our different models. Based on this information, this will help determine the right inflatable item for your needs.

How long is the power cord on the air blower?

The blower power cord is 25ft long.
